Light Painting

My biggest photographic passion is Light Painting. This genre of photography can be defined by the "intentional addition of artificial light to a long exposure photograph". My styles include creating art nouveau inspired light plants, freestyle light trails, illuminating woodlands, and creating light tunnels. All of the photos in this gallery were created in a single photographic exposure, with no photoshop used.

A valentines themed light painting for my wife. This long exposure light painting was created using two Antsonamelon RGB Critter 2.0 flashlights connected to:
1) Modular Lumi Saber Honeycomb 24" (M9.1 preset).
2) DIY Connector (M9.29 preset).
3 Legged Thing Punks Billy 2.0 tripod.

Light trails created with a Luminosify 60cm Candy Tri-colour Evolved Choob and Wurkkos TD02 torch.
Post processed in Adobe Lightroom. Foot removal in Photoshop.

Light Planting CLXXXVIII
Light painting photo with some cool street art in a tunnel. Created using three Antsonamelon RGB Critter 2.0 flashlights with:
1) 2x Modular Sol Sabers, Blade Holder, Mini Triangle Blade (M9.15 preset)
2) 1/2"x 1/4" Acrylic Writer (M1.5 colour).
2) No attachment, for starburst (M9.15 preset, 1sec per starburst).

1) 24" Modular Lumi Saber (M9.6 preset)
2) 24" Modular Sol Saber, Blade Holder, Mini Triangle Blade (M9.7 preset)
3) Starburst effect (2sec/starburst on M1.23 colour)

Light Planting CLXXIX
Creating a rainbow light plant in a park. This long exposure light painting photo was created with an @antsonamelon RGB Critter 2.0 flashlight (M9.29 preset) connected to a 24" Modular Lumi Saber Honeycomb. A second Critter was used to create the starbursts.

Long exposure light blading under a bridge. Reflections in a puddle created after recent rain. Photo created using three @antsonamelon RGB Critters:
1) Blade Holder, and Solar Flare Light Painting Blades (M9.29 preset).
2) 1/2"x 1/4" Acrylic Writer (M9.29 preset).
3) Fairy dust (M2.1 preset/20% output/3secs per starburst).

Electric Avenue V
"Critter stacking" in a tunnel. This long exposure photo utilised three @antsonamelon RGB Critters, 2x17" Sol Sabers, 24" Modular Sol Saber, a Critter Connector, and a Reverse Critter Connector. These were all connected into one column.

1) Two 8" Modular Sol Sabers, Blade Holder, and Mini Wedge Light Painting Blade (M9.15 preset).
2) DIY Connector (M9.15 preset).
3) 1/2"x 1/4" Acrylic Writer (M1.5 colour).
Fairy dust effect from an Olight i5R torch.
